While everyone else was having fun in Costa Brava for TBEX, one blogger was drinking sangria in his bedroom, listening to Ellie Goulding, coding and editing posts for what seemed like forever. The fatigue won and “I’m going to launch the blog on Monday” turned into “I guess Friday is good as well”. But after months of planning and weeks of editing, I can finally present you the new and improved Eff It I’m On Holiday.

What’s new

First and foremost, let me guide you through the new look of Eff It I’m On Holiday:

1. I am using hosting from Siteground and I am super happy with them, they answered quickly whenever I had a problem. If you want to sign up with them, use this link and get a discount.
2.  The cute banner you see above was drawn by the talented Irma, creator of one of my favorite comics, Imy.
3. The slider will feature both new posts and old ones you may have missed.
4. I’ve reorganized the posts to fit into the following categories (shown on the home page): Travel Inspiration, Travel Advice, Travel Stories, Reviews, Visit Romania, Thursday Tidbits and Saturday Chat
5. The Visit Romania page in the menu, that has information for people thinking about visiting Romania or planning a trip to our country, updated with links from fellow travel bloggers.
6. The Destinations page has been changed as well, including small but sweet photos.

What’s next

Although I was super busy planning, transferring files and editing, that doesn’t mean that I didn’t have time for travel, and I spent one day in the beautiful city of Sinaia and one at the chocolate factory, so I have a few stories for you. In addition to this, tomorrow I’ll be traveling to Malta and I’m super excited to visit all those gorgeous places on the island. I’ll keep you up to date on Facebook and Instagram while I’m there and you can be sure you will have a lot of posts to read after I come back. Finally, a month after I return, I’ll travel again to Brasov where I’ll be spending a weekend with John from Continental Breakfast Travel who will be in Romania for the first time. 😀
